Summer Fun 2007

Where have we been all summer????? Visiting Babyland in Louisiana, living amongst the wildlife on Maryland's eastern shore, and catching baseballs at Camdon Yards.......What a Summer!

The New Backyard

Not sure if everyone saw our old backyard, but I don't think you could even call it a backyard. It was more of a dirtlot. So we got some free (by free I mean $0, but lots of labor) sod from some guy in Southern PA and with lots of help from some special workers (both of our Dads) we were able to transform our dirtlot into a grassy paradise. The trailer held up, but we are still waiting on a report to see if the worker's survived.

Welcome to Baltimore!

Hotel d'Hanley had their youngest and most entertaining house guest to date last week. Nikki, Adair, and Mom visited from Louisiana while Dad made the long journey from Herndon, VA. We kicked off the trip with a lite finger sandwich and tea lunch and headed out to the exciting town of Westminster. After cherry picking, we headed off to Baltimore where Adair had a taste of city life in Fell's Point, the Inner Harbor, and Federal Hill. The visit ended with a true Maryland cuisine featuring steamed crabs. The trip was enjoyed by all!
